The success of any organization hinges on the strength of its leaders, and this is certainly true for Listen to Our Future (LTOF). LTOF thrives today because of the vision and dedication of our exceptional leaders who are committed to delivering high-quality education.


Our philosophy at LTOF is deeply rooted in the passion of our founder, Ms. Lillian Barkes. As an educator, Lillian understands the essential elements that help children grow and thrive. Born in China and raised in the United States, she graduated from IUPUI in 2019 with a degree in Elementary Education, holding dual licenses in reading and specializations in Math and Science. Her diverse background includes experience in after-school youth programs, cheerleading coaching, summer camp counseling, and teaching. Lillian's expertise has been instrumental in enhancing the quality of our programs, driving innovative educational initiatives, developing strategic student growth methods, and empowering both our students and tutors to achieve their goals. With Lillian at the helm, LTOF is poised for continued growth and success.


Supporting our talented CEO, we have an outstanding team of Program Managers who are the backbone of our organization.


Hailey Haynes, one of our dedicated Program Managers, brings valuable experience and passion to our team. Raised in Central Indiana, Hailey spent three years teaching at Indianapolis Public Schools and Pike Township before joining LTOF. Her commitment to education and child welfare makes her an invaluable asset to our mission.


No successful organization runs without strong talent acquisition, and Kimberely Woolen fills that role brilliantly. As our Staffing and Communications Coordinator, Kimberely excels at identifying top talent for our team and ensures that our tutors receive ongoing training and support through workshops and professional development opportunities.



Our leadership exemplifies what great leadership should be. Though referred to as the ‘Leadership Team,’ we embrace an open-door policy, inviting staff at all levels to connect directly with our leaders. In addition, our bi-weekly ‘All Staff’ meetings provide an opportunity for employees to share their stories and engage with the leadership team.

At LTOF, we believe that our leaders not only guide but also empower every member of our team, fostering a culture of collaboration, support, and shared success.
